First Home Owner’s Grant
Did you know that our properties are eligible for the First Home Buyers Grant? On the 13th of June, the Queensland state government gave out their budget for the 2017-2018 financial year and what has come as a pleasant surprise is the decision to extend the $20,000 first home owners grant out by six months. Many believed the budget would be dropped to 15,000 as of July 1st but thanks to a $30 million injection to the state budget the grant has been extended till the 31st of December 2017.
To be eligible for this:
- You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- You or your partner must not have previously owned a property within Australia
- You must be over the age of 18
